Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa both return to the Manchester United starting lineup for tonight's Champions League group opener against Galatasaray at Old Trafford.

Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa both return to the Manchester United starting lineup for tonight's Champions League group opener against Galatasaray at Old Trafford.

The duo started on the bench for last weekend's victory over Wigan Athletic.

David de Gea replaces Anders Lindegaard in goal, while Jonny Evans comes in for Rio Ferdinand in the centre of the United defence.

Meanwhile, Darren Fletcher is named among the subsitutes following a lengthy absence from first-team action through illness.

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue starts for the Turkish side, but ex-Bolton Wanderers striker Johan Elmander is on the bench.
